Seeing the yacht has docked and realizing it’s his last chance to save their necks, John jumps off the yacht and away from Mr. Lee and his thugs. He swims ashore and manages to get the police.
As they wait, Barbara convinces Lisa that she’s been all wrong about John. John returns with the police and reports that while Mr. Lee has been nabbed, Martin has yet to be captured. Trying to convince her not to sleep with Diego tonight, Mike explains to Lily that Lucinda has gone to the FBI to convince them to investigate Diego. Furious, Lily accuses Mike of ruining everything. Meanwhile, Diego says a tearful goodbye to Pilar and urges her not to race because her mind is only thinking about never seeing Mike again. Pilar disagrees and insists that she must race against Mike. Moments before the big race, Pilar and Mike wish each other luck, especially with the icy conditions of the track. Pilar struggles to hide her emotions as she realizes that she will never see him again after the race. During the race, Mike is quick to react when Pilar makes a dangerous move. Though he’s safe, Pilar’s not so lucky as her car crashes. While kissing Paul at the cabin, Sarah spots someone outside but it’s not until Emily falls to the ground crying over her miserable life that the two discover her outside the cabin. The two bring a sobbing and hysterical Emily inside to warm up. Embarrassed, Emily confesses that she has been scheming to break them out.
