Another World
While strolling down Center Street and gazing at the festive holiday decorations, Matt and Sofia share a kiss. As Bobby hurries off to investigate the sound of a possible prowler, Ryan desperately attempts to make contact with Vicky. Jake is knocked unconscious and dragged away from his car by two of Grant’s goons, who then inject their prey with a syringe. Cass gives Cindy a friendly warning about getting too close to Grant Harrison.
Certain that Grant is preparing to pounce, a worried Bobby pressures Vicky to let him move into her house to safeguard her family. Matt invites Sofia to come skating with him on the lake. The expedition ends quickly, however, when Sofia breaks through the thin ice and ends up drenched. Returning to the boathouse to warm up, Matt urges Sofia to rid herself of her wet clothes. Concerned when Jake fails to meet her and the boys at Carlino’s as planned, Etta Mae phones Vicky to alert her that something may be amiss. With Ryan staying close on his brother’s heels, Grant reminds Cindy that her therapist’s files could easily wind up on Gabe’s desk unless she toes the line. Bobby suggests to Vicky that Jake cooked up his disappearing act just to ruin their date. Later, Vicky is horrified to find Jake sprawled on the ground next to his car.
